General Ledger Management:
Oversee and maintain the general ledger.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts regularly.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight:
Supervise and support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Review and approve invoices, payments, and collections.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor and report on budget performance.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to management.
Implement strategies to optimize working capital.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
Provide training and professional development opportunities.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Leverage technology and software solutions to streamline accounting functions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, with at senior or supervisory role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books ) and Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
