Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and prepare accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to supervise team members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Prepare GST/TDS returns, income tax filings, and coordinate with auditors.

Monitor budget and financial forecasting activities.

Implement internal controls and improve accounting processes.

Support external audits by providing required documentation.

Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certification (CA/CPA/CMA) preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, ERP systems).

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary

As per industry standards / Negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
