Q2 is seeking a Senior Accountant that will be involved in a broad range of global accounting areas providing service to the Q2 Accounting department from India. The Accounting department at Q2 offers a hard to find dynamic work environment that welcomes innovative ideas, rewards hard work and commitment, exposes its members to growth opportunities, and encourages evolution of individuals, methodologies, processes, and systems. This position will report into the Manager, Accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable:
  • Creation and maintenance of AP vendor master and maintain vendor documentation like contracts, agreements, purchase orders, etc.
  • Day to day tracking and accounting of AP invoices including vendor payment for global entities.
  • Tracking and reconciling of vendor expenses and coordination with vendors.
  • Ensure correct compliance requirements are followed like GST/VAT, with-holding taxes, etc.
  • Tracking, verification and accounting of Employee Travel and other expense settlements.
  • Tracking and accounting of corporate credit card expenses and processing payments.
  • Generation and verification of purchase orders.


Fixed Assets:
  • Tracking and accounting of Fixed Asset Invoices.
  • Performing calculations and posting of depreciation entries.
  • Preparation and maintaining required Fixed Asset schedules.


Banking:
  • Daily bank accounting and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
  • Co-ordination with Banks globally.


General Ledger:
  • Monthly book closing activities like accruals, amortizations, and allocations.
  • Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations.


Accounts Receivable:
  • Track, co-ordinate and follow-up with the product or service teams for efforts billable and generate invoices.
  • Performing cash application tasks to account customer receipts.


Reporting:
  • Preparation of budget statements and updating of actual for comparison & analysis
  • Monthly updating of account schedules and supporting SOX and audit requirements


Key Skills/Abilities:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an IT/ITES Company with exposure to Global Operations
  • Should be strong in MS Office and exposure to global ERP
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Highly organized and flexible.
  • Ability to multitask, transition to new roles and meet changing deadlines.
  • Maintains confidentiality.


This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
