Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee all accounting activities of our jewellery business. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

Handle complete books of accounts for the jewellery business Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle jewellery stock accounting (Gold, Diamond, Silver & Inventory valuation) Reconcile bank statements, cash, and ledger accounts Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter preferred) Minimum

5 years of experience

in accounting (Jewellery industry experience is an advantage) Strong knowledge of

GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings

Proficiency in

Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software

Good analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in retail or jewellery accounting Ability to handle multiple showroom accounts Strong coordination and communication skills Self-driven and capable of handling responsibilities independently

Salary

Salary will be

as per industry standards

and based on experience

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
