Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in accounting principles and financial systems, with a commitment to accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and record daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare trial balances. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in compliance with local regulations. Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits. Ensure timely payments and invoicing. Maintain and update accounting software and support system-based financial processes. Prepare reports and analysis for management review. Support process improvements and internal control enhancements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems). Strong knowledge of MS Excel and data handling. Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities.
