Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Head Cashier

to oversee all cashiering operations at our retail store. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cash handling, transaction management, and team supervision. As the Head Cashier, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and security of all financial transactions while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cash Handling and Operations:

Manage and oversee daily cash transactions, including cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments. Ensure accurate billing and proper handling of refunds, discounts, and exchanges. Monitor cash registers and ensure they are balanced at the end of each shift.

2. Team Supervision:

Lead, train, and supervise a team of cashiers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and resolve any team-related concerns. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to the cashiering team.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

Ensure cashiers provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Address escalated customer complaints or concerns professionally.

4. Compliance and Security:

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling. Safeguard against financial discrepancies and fraud by maintaining secure practices. Conduct audits of cash drawers and report any discrepancies to the management.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports for management review. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile daily sales and cash reports.

6. Process Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in cashiering operations and implement solutions. Suggest and implement efficient payment processes and systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in cash handling and retail operations Proficient in using billing software, POS systems, and digital payment platforms. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,or a related field (preferred).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
