Key Responsibilities:
Project Accounting:
Maintain and monitor budgets for specific projects.
Ensure all project-related financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare project-wise financial reports and forecasts.
Government Portals:
Handle procurement and compliance activities on
GeM portal
and other government platforms.
Ensure timely registration, bidding, and documentation as per requirements.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure timely filing and compliance with
GST
,
TDS
, and
TCS
regulations.
Maintain all related records and reconcile returns with books.
Monitor and ensure adherence to tax deadlines.
Inventory Management:
Maintain and reconcile stock records.
Apply and analyze inventory valuation methods like
LIFO/FIFO
.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for accurate stock reporting.
Accounting Operations:
Prepare and maintain
Trial Balance
, general ledger, and financial statements.
Coordinate with external/internal auditors and assist in preparation of
Audit Reports
.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Advanced Excel & Reporting:
Use
Advanced Excel functions
for data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.
Generate MIS reports and other custom reports as required by management.
Team Handling & Communication:
Supervise and guide junior accounts staff.
Ensure effective communication across departments and with clients/vendors.
Provide training and mentorship as needed.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/MBA Finance is a plus).
Minimum
3+ years
of experience in accounting and finance roles.
Strong knowledge of
project accounting
,
GST
,
TDS/TCS
, and government compliance.
Hands-on experience with
GeM portal
and other procurement platforms.
Proficient in
Advanced Excel
and accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc.).
Good understanding of
LIFO/FIFO
inventory methods.
Experience in preparing and reviewing
audit reports

Excellent
verbal and written communication
skills.
Team management
skills with a collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills:
