Key Result Areas (KRAs) for a Senior Academy Counselor

Student Guidance and Counseling Target Oriented Monthly

Provide academic and career counseling to students. Assist students in identifying their strengths and interests to guide them towards appropriate courses or career paths.

Program Development and Management

Develop and implement counseling programs that meet the needs of students. Review and update counseling materials and resources regularly.

Communication and Collaboration

Liaise with faculty, parents, and administration to support student development. Conduct workshops and seminars on academic planning, stress management, and career readiness.

Academic Monitoring

Monitor student academic performance and provide intervention strategies for those at risk of underperforming. Maintain records of student progress and provide reports to relevant stakeholders.

Crisis Intervention

Provide support and intervention in crisis situations, including mental health issues or personal challenges affecting student performance. Refer students to appropriate professionals or resources when necessary.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect and analyze data on student performance and counseling outcomes to improve services. Prepare reports on counseling activities and student progress for administration.

Professional Development

Stay updated with the latest counseling techniques and educational trends. Attend workshops and conferences for continuous professional development.

Ethical and Confidential Practice

Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in all student interactions. Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to discuss their concerns.
Metrics for Success

Student satisfaction surveys. Academic improvement rates among counseled students. Successful referrals to external resources and support services. Engagement levels in workshops and counseling sessions.
