You will leverage strong counselling skills, industry knowledge, and a target-oriented mindset to maximize student engagement and admissions performance.
Key Responsibilities
Student Guidance & Conversion (Primary Focus)
Conduct counselling sessions with prospective learners to understand goals, eligibility, career aspirations, and budget.
Recommend the most suitable
online degree programs
(e.g., BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, MBA, MCA, M.Com, etc.) based on individual profiles.
Present program structure, curriculum, fees, eligibility, and admissions process clearly and confidently.
Handle inbound and outbound leads, manage follow-ups, and ensure high conversion rates.
Enrollment Support & Documentation
Assist candidates with application submission, documentation, and onboarding processes.
Track and report student progress through the admissions funnel using CRM systems.
Provide updates to students and escalate issues for swift resolution.
Performance & Target Achievement
Meet weekly and monthly
conversion and enrollment targets

Analyze counselling metrics and continuously improve counselling approaches.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and academic teams to enhance lead quality and conversion strategies.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in training sessions, performance reviews, and feedback evaluations.
Stay updated on online degree offerings, industry trends, and partner university requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
2-3+ years in academic counselling, admissions counselling, or student advising with a strong track record of conversions (preferably in EdTech or online degree verticals).LinkedIn
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Result-Driven:
Proven ability to achieve targets and perform in a target-oriented environment.
Sales-Oriented Counselling:
Strong persuasion, objection handling, and consultative counselling skills.
CRM & Tools:
Comfortable with CRM systems, lead management tools, and Microsoft Office.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarity with UGC-approved online universities and degree programs is a plus.
