About the Role:

Sterling Study Abroad is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Senior Academic Counselor

to guide and support students in their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate will have strong counseling skills, knowledge of international education systems, and the ability to mentor junior counselors.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students on study abroad options, admission processes, and career pathways. Guide students in choosing appropriate universities, courses, and destinations. Manage end-to-end admission processes including applications, documentation, and visa guidance. Conduct seminars, webinars, and orientation sessions for prospective students. Mentor and support junior counselors in their student interactions. Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational partners. Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for student admissions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in any discipline. Minimum

1-2 years of experience

in student counseling or related fields. Strong knowledge of international education systems and visa processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work in a target-driven environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
