Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through their journey of enrolling in our online graduation and post-graduation programs. The ideal candidate will be a passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and effectively explaining the benefits of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling:
Engage with prospective students (leads provided) through various channels (phone, email, chat) to understand their educational aspirations and career goals.
Program Guidance:
Provide detailed information about our online graduation and post-graduation programs, including curriculum, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and career outcomes.
Sales & Enrollment:
Effectively communicate the value proposition of our programs, address student queries, overcome objections, and facilitate the enrollment process to achieve admission targets.
Relationship Building:
Build strong, trust-based relationships with prospective students, guiding them seamlessly from initial inquiry to successful enrollment.
Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student interactions and admissions progress in the CRM system.
Follow-up:
Conduct timely and consistent follow-ups with leads to ensure a smooth and continuous admission pipeline.
Achieve Targets:
Consistently meet and exceed individual and team enrollment targets.
Market Feedback:
Provide feedback on student inquiries and market trends to help refine admission strategies and program offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (any discipline) is mandatory.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory
(both written and verbal).
Communication Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and active listening skills. Ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
Sales Acumen:
Proven ability to counsel and convert leads into enrollments.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong rapport-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify student needs and offer appropriate solutions.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in using CRM software and other communication tools (e.g., MS Office, G-Suite).
Work Ethic:
Highly organized, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience (for experienced candidates):
Previous experience in education counseling, sales, tele-counseling, or customer service, preferably in the EdTech or education sector, is a plus.
