Job Summary:

Sterling Study Abroad is seeking a proactive and student-focused

Academic Counselor

for our Edappal branch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guiding students in their academic and career decisions, with a strong understanding of overseas education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals. Provide accurate information about various universities, courses, and countries. Assist students in the application process including documentation, statement of purpose, and visa guidance. Maintain follow-ups with potential students and convert inquiries into admissions. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth application processing. Stay updated with the latest trends in international education and visa rules. Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in academic/student counseling or related field (preferably in study abroad sector). Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education background preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Good command over English and Malayalam. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, etc.).
