Counsel prospective students and parents about programs, career options, and admission procedures.
Conduct one-on-one and group sessions (in person, phone, or virtual) to understand student needs and preferences.
Assist students in choosing appropriate courses/programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.
Convert inquiries into admissions by effectively following up via calls, emails, and other communication platforms.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress using CRM tools.
Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic departments to ensure smooth enrollment.
Stay updated with course content, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Support students during the enrollment process, including document collection, fee counseling, and orientation.
Participate in webinars, seminars, and promotional events to represent the institution or platform.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, or related field (Master's preferred).
1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets/deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and virtual communication tools.
Empathetic, student-focused, and persuasive attitude.
