Role Overview
The
Senior Academic Counsellor - Cloud Technologies
will be responsible for guiding students, graduates, and working professionals toward career transformation through Technovalley's cloud certification programs. The role involves professional counselling, lead conversion, and performance-driven admissions management.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel and guide students and professionals on cloud computing certifications, career paths, and job opportunities.
Clearly explain Technovalley's cloud programs, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle certifications.
Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions through strategic consultation and follow-ups.
Achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets through effective pipeline management.
Conduct webinars, orientation sessions, and virtual career counselling events.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM systems.
Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams for campaign planning and event execution.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, certifications, and global demand trends.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance metrics and conversions.
Requirements
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or Management.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably in EdTech or IT certification domains.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Malayalam.
Proven ability to meet and exceed admissions and revenue targets.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and certification ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Workspace, and MS Office.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience counselling for AWS, Azure, or CompTIA Cloud+ certification programs.
Knowledge of job roles such as Cloud Engineer, Cloud Administrator, and DevOps Engineer.
Ability to conduct virtual or in-person career workshops.
Team leadership and mentoring skills to support junior counsellors.
