Role Overview
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven
Senior Academic Counsellors
with a proven track record in
selling professional training and certifications
such as
RHCE, CCNA, CCNP, DevOps, Cloud, and other high-demand IT programs
. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding students, professionals, and corporate clients toward career-defining programs from Technovalley.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Professional Counselling:
Provide expert guidance to students and working professionals on IT certifications, career paths, and program benefits.
Sales & Conversions:
Drive admissions and revenue by actively selling global certifications and specialized programs (RHCE, CCNA, CCNP, DevOps, Cloud, etc.).
Lead Management:
Handle incoming leads through calls, emails, walk-ins, and digital campaigns, ensuring high conversion ratios.
Corporate Engagement:
Interact with corporates, HR teams, and technical heads to pitch enterprise training solutions.
Target Achievement:
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly enrolment and revenue targets.
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on industry trends, certification demands, and competitor offerings to position Technovalley effectively.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing, Training, and Placement teams to ensure student success and client satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 3-7 years in academic counselling, B2C/B2B sales, or training institute enrolments, specifically in
RHCE, CCNA, CCNP, DevOps, Cloud, and related IT certifications
.
Education:
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably IT, Business, or related fields).
Skills:
Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and handle objections.
Deep understanding of IT training and certification landscapes.
Ability to counsel and motivate students/professionals toward global careers.
