Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and student-focused

Senior Academic Counselor

to guide students through academic planning, course selection, and career pathways. The ideal candidate will mentor students, support enrollment goals, and ensure high levels of student satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic counseling to students regarding programs, curriculum, and career pathways Guide students through admissions, enrollment, and academic planning processes Assess student needs and recommend suitable academic options Track student progress and provide ongoing academic support Collaborate with faculty, admissions, and support teams Maintain accurate student records and counseling reports Achieve counseling, enrollment, and retention targets Mentor junior counselors and contribute to team training

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field 3+ years of experience as an Academic Counselor / Academic Advisor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to counsel, motivate, and guide students effectively Familiarity with academic programs, admissions, and student support processes Proficiency in MS Office / CRM systems

Preferred Skills

Experience in higher education, coaching institutes, or training organizations Exposure to admissions counseling or student enrollment Leadership or mentoring experience
