Counsel prospective students and parents through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings regarding academic programs, admissions, and career options.
Assess learners' needs and provide guidance for suitable courses/programs offered by the institution.
Convert walk-in and telephonic inquiries into enrollments, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, leads, and conversions in the CRM system.
Assist with the planning and execution of academic seminars, webinars, orientation sessions, and educational fairs.
Develop relationships with students, alumni, and partner institutions to facilitate enrollments and referrals.
Stay updated with education trends, competitive offerings, and admission processes.
Provide after-admission support, ensuring student satisfaction through their onboarding and initial learning phases.
Collaborate with academic and marketing teams for effective promotional campaigns and program launches.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field
1 to 3 years' experience as an academic counselor, admission counselor, or similar role in an EdTech or educational institution.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven record of meeting enrollment/counseling targets.
Strong understanding of student psychology and academic needs assessment.
Familiarity with CRM software and online communication tools.
High degree of professionalism, patience, and resilience.
