We are looking for a committed Academic Coordinator to enhance the academic operations of our Pilot Training Program.
Position Summary
The Academic Coordinator will ensure seamless academic operations by handling student administration, managing academic documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating with various departments. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Administration
Manage student admissions, academic registrations, and onboarding.
Maintain updated student records, documents, and personal files.
Assist students with academic queries, schedules, and course guidelines.
2. Academic Operations
Coordinate timetables for classes, simulator sessions, and examinations.
Collaborate with instructors, examiners, and training teams to ensure smooth academic flow.
Prepare and distribute academic materials, notices, and communication updates.
3. Academic Records & Documentation
Maintain detailed academic records including attendance, grades, assessments, and progress reports.
Prepare student transcripts, compliance documents, and training logs.
Ensure filing accuracy and adherence to aviation standards and audit requirements.
4. Attendance Management
Track and record daily student attendance using internal systems.
Generate attendance summaries and share reports with the Academic Head.
Ensure timely submission and accuracy of attendance records.
5. Interdepartmental Coordination
Act as a key point of contact between academic, operations, HR, finance, and administrative departments.
Communicate schedules, updates, and academic requirements clearly.
Support external audits, inspections, and regulatory evaluations.
6. Technical Skills
Prepare data sheets, student trackers, and reports using MS Excel.
Draft letters, documents, and official communication using MS Word.
Use institutional academic management tools for daily operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Management, Education, Aviation background preferred).
Experience in academic coordination, administration, or training institute operations.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and work within deadlines.
