Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Coordinator who will lead our curriculum implementation, mentor teachers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality early years education. You will be the academic anchor for both our Dwarka and Lajpat Nagar centres, helping translate our vision into daily classroom excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, refine and oversee the academic curriculum for toddlers (1+), pre-nursery (2+), nursery (3+) and day-care segments, aligned with the Yatha philosophy. Mentor, train and support teaching staff in delivering the curriculum and utilising effective pedagogy and assessment practices. Monitor teaching-learning processes, conduct classroom observations, provide feedback and ensure continuous improvement. Liaise with Centre Heads / Management to ensure academic objectives, outcomes and standards are met. Maintain and enhance academic records, track child progress, and coordinate with parents to communicate learning outcomes and next steps. Facilitate and organise teacher workshops, professional development sessions and team-meetings. Stay updated with early years education research, Montessori and Multiple Intelligence frameworks, and integrate relevant innovations into practice. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards in the academic context (including age-appropriate practices, child-safety, and making the learning spaces "home-away-from-home" for little ones). Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or relevant field. Minimum

3-5 years

(or more) of experience in early years education, preferably in a coordinator or leadership role in a preschool or primary setting. Strong understanding of Montessori pedagogy and/or Multiple Intelligence theory. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and develop a team. Proven track-record of designing and managing curricula, assessment strategies and teacher development. Child-centric mindset, imaginative, proactive, and committed to creating a joyful learning environment. Comfortable working across two centres (Dwarka & Lajpat Nagar) and collaborating with diverse teams. Willingness to adapt, innovate and embrace the school's ethos of nurturing curious, compassionate learners.
