Position: Senior Academic Counselor



Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, understanding their educational needs, and advising them on the best course options based on their career goals and interests. This position also involves driving sales and achieving enrollment targets while delivering exceptional customer service to both prospective and existing students.

Key Responsibilities:



Student Counseling

: Engage with prospective students through various channels (phone, email, in-person, etc.) to understand their academic and career objectives and provide appropriate course recommendations.

Sales & Enrollment

: Actively promote the institution's digital marketing and multimedia programs, convert leads into enrollments, and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.

Customer Relationship Management

: Build strong relationships with prospective students, guide them through the entire enrollment journey, and offer continuous support.

Course Guidance

: Provide in-depth information about the curriculum, teaching methods, faculty, certifications, career opportunities, and course benefits.

Market Research

: Stay informed about industry trends, course offerings, and competitor programs to better address student inquiries and tailor counseling accordingly.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

: Monitor personal sales performance and provide regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and enrollment figures.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to develop strategies for lead generation and student retention.

Required Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, student admissions, or sales, preferably in the education or digital marketing industry. Strong sales orientation with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective students. Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and multimedia education programs is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple student inquiries simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to addressing student needs. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
