Roles & Responsibilities of Accountant

Manage

ROC filings

and ensure all statutory submissions are made within deadlines. Handle

tax compliance

including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes. Prepare and file

Income Tax Returns (ITR)

for the company and directors. Maintain accurate

daily accounting records

of income, expenses, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and present

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

and MIS reports. Coordinate with

statutory, internal, and tax auditors

, ensuring timely audits and proper documentation. Apply knowledge from previous

bank audits

to improve financial reporting and internal controls. Maintain

organized records

of all financial documents, both digital and physical. Stay updated with changes in

tax laws, Companies Act

, and accounting standards. Support management with

financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

.

Requirements for Accountant

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.

Experience:

Minimum 2- 3years in accounting, with hands-on experience in ROC filing, taxation, and audits.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally ERP

, MS Excel, and accounting software. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR, and Companies Act compliance.

Preferred:

Experience in

bank audits

and

statutory audits

.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Other:

Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.
