The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in statutory audits, preparing financial statements in compliance with IND AS, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and assist in
Statutory Audits
of companies as per Companies Act and applicable standards.
Prepare and review
financial statements
in compliance with
IND AS
and other applicable financial reporting frameworks.
Perform detailed testing of financial transactions and balances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify, document, and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
Assist in
internal control reviews
and suggest process improvements.
Liaise with clients to obtain necessary audit evidence and clarifications.
Support in preparation of audit documentation and working papers in line with firm/audit standards.
Assist senior auditors or managers in
audit planning and execution
.
Keep updated with amendments in accounting and auditing standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, compliance, tax) to ensure timely completion of audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant
(cleared IPCC/Intermediate and completed 3 years of articleship).
Minimum
3 years of relevant experience
in
Statutory Audit
and
IND AS compliance
(preferably with a reputed CA firm or corporate finance department).
Strong understanding of
IND AS, Companies Act, and Standards on Auditing (SA)
.
Working knowledge of
Income Tax
,
GST
, and
ROC compliances
is an advantage.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
,
Tally
, and/or
ERP systems
(SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
