Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our firm in Bara Bazar, Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and strong working knowledge in Tax Audits, Statutory Audits, and general accounting and compliance work. This role offers exposure to a wide range of industries and clients, providing an excellent platform for learning and professional development. --- Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting Tax Audits as per Income Tax Act Handle Statutory Audits of companies, firms, and LLPs Prepare and review audit documentation and working papers Filing and reviewing Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CD/3CB) Support in preparing Financial Statements as per applicable standards Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations Coordinate with clients for data and audit-related information Assist in GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings as needed Maintain proper documentation and audit trail Work under the guidance of senior CAs and partners --- Requirements: Passed CA Intermediate/IPCC (Group I or both groups) Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a CA firm environment Strong knowledge of Taxation, Accounting, Auditing Standards, and Indian GAAP Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and audit tools Working knowledge of Income Tax Portal, GST Portal, and MCA Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage deadlines and work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
