Job Description

The Semi-Chartered Accountant supports the finance and accounting function by assisting with financial reporting, audits, taxation, and day-to-day accounting operations. The role is suitable for candidates who have completed part of their professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA Inter / ACCA part-qualified) and are gaining practical experience toward full qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Audit & Compliance

Assist in internal and external audit processes Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Taxation

Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns (income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, etc.) Maintain tax records and supporting schedules Liaise with tax authorities and auditors when required

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare management reports and financial analyses Support senior accountants and finance managers in decision-making Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Administrative & Support

Maintain proper documentation and filing systems Support senior staff in finance-related projects Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions (if applicable)

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
