About the Role
Our new SEM Associate is a high-energy, detail-conscious professional who can ramp up quickly to manage high performing campaigns and client-facing resource for Balihoo's most established clients. This position will report into the Associate Director, and will play an integral role in supporting the management, execution, and reporting for Google Ads, Meta and potentially other digital media channels; leveraging proprietary technology, automation, and data to drive amazing results for our clients.
Required Experience
Campaign creation, QA, activation and optimization of Google & Meta ads required; Experience with programmatic or other social ad platforms is a plus
Keyword & Negative Keyword research and development
Google & Meta ad creation, including copy optimization and A/B testing
Experience pulling reports and creating tracking events within Google Analytics (GA4)
Budget pacing and performance to KPIs
Performance optimization through ad copy, keywords, bids, geo-targeting, and landing page strategy
Developing and supporting reporting deliverables for clients (weekly, monthly, wrap reports)
Up-to-date experience with all Google & Meta ad products (e.g.: Google PMax, LSA's)
The Ideal Candidate
5+ years experience with SEM and SEO for the US market
Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
Experience in a client-facing role with US based clients.
Ability to build genuine client, agency, and vendor relationships
Strong analytical abilities, including drawing insights from client or media reported data
Organization, writing and project management skills are a must
Exceptional eye for detail
Strong collaborator - will be working internally with operations, agency, engineering and product teams for successful campaign activation and execution
Demonstrated curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Self-directed and enjoys taking initiative
Must be fluent in English verbal and written communication
