We Sumathi seeds are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Inventory Supervisor

to oversee our inventory management operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of raw materials, processed seeds, packaging materials, and finished goods. Your role will be crucial in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring seamless production operations.

As an Inventory Supervisor, you will manage a team, collaborate with Plant and logistics departments, and implement strategies for efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Oversee daily inventory activities, including tracking, organizing, and managing stock of raw materials, seeds, and packaging materials

Stock Control:

Ensure proper storage of all items, monitor stock levels, and perform regular stock audits to prevent discrepancies and overstocking/understocking

Team Leadership:

Supervise and train inventory staff, ensuring they follow best practices for stock handling, safety procedures, and inventory accuracy

Reporting:

Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues with inventory accuracy for upper management

Quality Control:

Ensure inventory is handled with care to avoid damage or spoilage, especially in the case of seed and packaging materials

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce safety standards for handling and storing materials and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
