:
Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of security guards.
Create security staff schedules and ensure proper shift coverage.
Ensure security personnel follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operations and compliance
:
Conduct regular patrols of all hotel areas, including public spaces, guest floors, and back-of-house areas.
Manage access control to restricted areas and monitor surveillance systems, such as CCTV.
Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and perform safety audits.
Incident management
:
Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents promptly.
Investigate incidents and write detailed reports, coordinating with local law enforcement and other departments as needed.
Follow up on all security-related issues and complaints.
Safety and emergency preparedness
:
Assist in developing and implementing safety and security policies.
Conduct and/or assist with security awareness and emergency response training for staff.
Coordinate with other departments on security matters, including events and guest services.
Required skills and qualifications
Previous experience in security, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and security procedures.
Leadership and team management skills.
Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure.
High level of integrity and a strong code of ethics.
