CTG is seeking to fill a Security Specialist - Infrastructure Security position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
Duties:
Conduct Mainframe cyber resilience assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
Implement and deploy Cloud & Infrastructure Security services supporting client billable services.
Design, execute, and test security solutions, including proof-of-concepts, implementation plans, and deployment plans.
Secure cloud and infrastructure environments using technologies such as Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS protection, and Micro Segmentation.
Collaborate with development, services, and network teams to ensure technical solutions are relevant and effective for incident resolution.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to clients and internal personnel in multi-vendor, multi-protocol environments.
Ensure the integrity, resilience, and compliance of critical networks and systems.
Skills:
Expertise in infrastructure security technologies and architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and implementation.
Experience with Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS mitigation, and Micro Segmentation.
Ability to develop proof-of-concepts and implementation/testing plans.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience:
Proven track record in deploying and managing infrastructure security solutions in enterprise environments.
Experience providing guidance and technical support in multi-vendor, multi-protocol networks.
Background in Mainframe security assessments preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications are highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
