About the role

To lead the critical development and delivery of all-source intelligence production, security assessments, advice and assistance as needed for bespoke consulting solutions developed for clients in the Indian Subcontinent with a secondary remit for the rest of the world. As a client facing role, the Security Specialist will be responsible for enabling our clients' risk mitigation, business continuity and crisis management including the safety and security of their workforce through high-quality written and verbal security briefings and advice, as well as coordination and monitoring support. During times of crisis, the Security Specialist will be at the forefront of advising and assisting client organisations on the immediate actions needed to keep their staff safe and minimise disruption to their operations.

Key responsibilities

Delivery of best-in-class bespoke verbal and written security assessments and briefings Drive awareness of the current security environment in South Asia region through all-source research and analysis Collect, analyse, and disseminate security or disruption issues affecting client workforce Draft security reports bespoke to client specifications, assist in developing solutions through client engagement, support in driving new business and client retention Deliver issue-based webinars, speak at conferences, and represent the organization at high-level forums as a security subject matter expert Deliver safety and security trainings and workshops and engage in client specific consultancy tasks as required Marketing activities in support of outbound initiatives and the broader South Asia business priorities Participate to the country planning activity such as Country Assessment Process (CAP) and on occasion, and as required, travel to locations within South Asia to assess current situation, local

provider capabilities and expanding the existing network of contacts to further support clients
Deploy 'on-ground' as part of teams responding to crises to support members organisations

Required Skills and Knowledge (Brief description of technical knowledge or skills needed to perform the job)



Knowledge of the geopolitical and security issues across South Asia Excellent written and verbal English language competency Interest in international affairs and the global security environment Ability to explain complex situations to a non-expert Liaison and communication skills Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other applications Willingness to work outside of normal duty hours, to support team operations, particularly in times of crisis

About you

Required Work Experience (Brief description of the job-related experience needed to perform the job)



Proven experience in a geopolitical analysis, crisis management, security risk or related field: military, government, international affairs, journalism, relevant field of academia Experience briefing senior management and business decision-makers Customer service/ client facing experience (for example, sales) Experience of writing for a business audience

Required Qualifications (Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job)



Degree-level education or equivalent work experience Preferred: Post-graduate qualification in politics, journalism, international relations or related subject or equivalent work experience
