What You'll Do

Seeking a Security Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver technically complex security initiatives. This role bridges project management with deep technical understanding of security systems, cloud environments, networks, and application security. You will manage projects end-to-end, collaborate with security engineers, IT, and product teams, and ensure technical security requirements are implemented effectively.



This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Security Strategy & Programs.

Responsibility



Lead technically complex security projects, from planning to deployment, ensuring objectives are met Collaborate with Security Engineers, IT, DevOps, and Product teams to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges Ensure security projects comply with frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, or cloud security best practices Document technical requirements, project milestones, and outcomes for stakeholders Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment Support audits, compliance, and security monitoring initiatives as part of project delivery Establish clear program structures, roadmaps, and metrics to ensure measurable impact and accountability Champion security-by-design and default principles, embedding security into product development lifecycles Establish metrics, OKRs, and reporting mechanisms for program health, adoption, and measurable security improvements

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What You Bring

Basic



5+ years of project management experience with a focus on technical security projects Bachelors or Masters degree in Technology or Computer Science or Cybersecurity Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to security, privacy, and compliance Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Jira, MS Project) Demonstrated competencies in providing program management during all phases of software development from kick-off to ship Experience defining monitoring metrics, KPIs, and operational dashboards

Preferred



Experience in security infrastructure technology and cloud native infrastructure services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, challenge the norms and make data-driven decisions Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones One or more of these certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, CSM, CSPO Familiar in different security domains such as Network Security, Application Security, Data Security, Vulnerability Management, Client and Cloud Security Strong understanding of security controls and how they should be implemented across Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using data to drive decisions Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
