Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage security measures for the organization's cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on AWS.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.

Support compliance requirements and assit in 3rd party audits to success.

Design, implement, and maintain security monitoring and incident response capabilities in the cloud environment.

Working closely with the operations and DevOps to build, manage and automate our AWS Infrastructure.

Provide expertise and support in addressing security-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.

Stay abreast of the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to proactively enhance the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or any relevant disciplines is required. A master's degree is preferred. At least 2+ years of experience in L2 Skills (AWS and Azure) Experience working in AWS Cloud technologies Proven experience as a SecOps Engineer with a focus on AWS security. Strong proficiency in AWS services and architecture, including VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, and others. Experience with security tools such as AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, AWS GuardDuty, etc. Skills in running vulnerbility scans and generate reports usable by system owners Strong understanding of DNS, SSL, Networking concepts and troubleshooting skills Experience in Configuration management tools Awareness on Monitoring and alerting tools (Cloudwatch, NewRelic, etc) Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS) and their application in cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Relevant security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP) are a plus.
