Job Description

1. Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, visitors, and company assets. The role includes patrolling, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and driving company/security vehicles when required. A valid four-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Security & Safety Operations

Conduct regular patrolling of the premises (foot patrol and vehicle patrol). Enforce company security policies, visitor protocols, and entry/exit procedures. Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety violations. Respond quickly in case of emergencies such as fire, accidents, or medical situations. Maintain vigilance at gates, checkpoints, parking areas, and sensitive zones.

B. Driving Responsibilities

Drive company or security vehicles for patrolling, escorting personnel, or emergency response. Ensure safe and responsible handling of the vehicle at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, tyres, lights, cleanliness). Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.

C. Incident Management

Record and report security incidents, suspicious activities, and violations. Assist in investigations and provide accurate written reports. Coordinate with local authorities when required.

D. Customer Service

Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors. Guide vehicles in parking areas and manage traffic flow. Maintain a professional and approachable attitude at all times.

E. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain security logs, vehicle logs, and shift reports. Follow safety protocols, emergency procedures, and company guidelines. Attend regular security trainings and mock drills.

3. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum education: 10th/12th pass (as required by employer).

Valid Four-Wheeler Driving Licence (LMV).

Prior experience in security roles preferred (1-3 years). Good communication skills (English/Hindi/Local language). Physically fit and alert; able to work in shifts. Basic knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, ID scanners, radios). Ability to remain calm under pressure.
