Job Description

A hospitality security officer ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and resolving incidents. They maintain a secure and welcoming environment through a combination of physical presence, technological monitoring, and effective communication, often requiring strong observational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Key Responsibilities

Surveillance and Patrolling:

Conduct regular patrols of hotel grounds, lobbies, parking lots, and common areas to deter criminal activity and unauthorized access.

Monitoring and Access Control:

Monitor surveillance camera systems, control access to restricted areas, and verify the identity of visitors.

Emergency Response:

Respond quickly to and manage emergencies such as medical crises, fires, and other critical incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

Investigate disturbances, suspicious activities, and security breaches, documenting observations and incidents thoroughly.

Guest and Staff Assistance:

Provide assistance, support, and reassurance to guests and staff, fostering a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Enforcing Rules:

Enforce hotel rules and regulations to prevent theft, violence, or other disturbances on the premises.

Conflict Resolution:

Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise between guests or staff.

Maintaining a Visible Presence:

Act as a deterrent to criminal activity through their visible presence and authoritative demeanor.

Observational Skills:

A keen eye for detail to spot suspicious activity or potential threats.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

Calm Under Pressure:

The ability to remain calm, think quickly, and act decisively in stressful situations.

A commitment to providing excellent customer service to guests.

Technical Proficiency:

Knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and communication devices like two-way radios.

Physical Fitness:

The ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols.
Qualifications

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is typically required.

Experience:

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is often preferred.

Availability:

The ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
