Job Summary
The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the factory premises, employees, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all security guards and ensure proper deployment across shifts.
Control and record entry/exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
Conduct routine inspections of factory premises, including boundary walls, gates, and sensitive areas.
Prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access within the factory premises.
Ensure CCTV systems, fire alarms, and other security devices are functional at all times.
Maintain records of visitors, material movements, and security incidents.
Coordinate with local police and fire departments during emergencies or incidents.
Prepare and submit daily security reports and incident logs to the management.
Assist in implementing safety and emergency response protocols in coordination with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team.
Train and discipline security staff to maintain vigilance, discipline, and professional conduct.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in industrial or factory security (preferably in hazardous manufacturing units).
Retired personnel from defense, paramilitary, or police service preferred.
Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
Knowledge of CCTV operations, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
