Security Officer
Job Description
A Security Officer in a school is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, and school property. The role includes monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor records, supervising CCTV surveillance, conducting regular patrols of the campus, and preventing unauthorized access. The Security Officer also assists in crowd control during school hours, assemblies, and events, responds promptly to emergencies or safety concerns, and coordinates with school management and local authorities when required. Maintaining discipline, reporting incidents, and ensuring compliance with school safety protocols are key responsibilities of the position.
