Job Purpose:

To ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement safety management systems that minimize risks to employees, equipment, and the environment within the automobile manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments in manufacturing areas (welding, painting, assembly lines, etc.). Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory safety requirements (e.g., Factories Act, ISO 45001). Investigate accidents/incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions. Train and educate employees on safety protocols, use of PPE, and emergency response procedures. Lead the internal safety committee meetings and coordinate with department heads to enforce safety practices. Develop and execute emergency preparedness and fire safety drills. Coordinate with external agencies like pollution control boards, fire departments, and other statutory bodies. Maintain all safety-related documentation and records. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety Management; Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized by State/Central Govt) is mandatory. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in industrial safety, preferably in the automobile or heavy engineering industry.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of safety laws, EHS standards, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in risk assessment tools and incident investigation methods. Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (OHSAS), and other relevant standards

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
