Job Title: Cinema Security Officer

Function/Department: Security

Reporting to: Cinema Manager/Assistant Manager (Security)

Location: Yamunanagar

Company: PVR Cinemas

Qualifications:

- Graduation degree

- 5+ years of experience in security, preferably in exhibitions, malls, aviation, or with an army background

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage the security operations of the cinema, ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and property. Responsibilities include physical security, loss prevention, risk management, fire management, disaster management, CCTV surveillance, access control, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage security guards and maintain records

- Conduct fire training and first aid training for employees

- Maintain various registers (visitor, vendor, staff movement, stock, etc.)

- Conduct quarterly fire training and evacuation drills

- Ensure fire and security audits are conducted

- Maintain security documents and check fire line pressure

- Update security pass-codes and display emergency contact details

- Handle lost and found items and maintain records

- Create weekly rosters for security guards

Required Skills:

- Expertise in security risk assessment, planning, and execution

- Experience in implementing security protocols and emergency response procedures

- Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills

- Adaptability, intelligence, and vigilance

Physical Attributes:

- Age: 25-30 years

- Height: above 5'6"

- Presentable, well-groomed, and strong voice

Additional Requirements:

- Diploma in Fire and Safety is an added advantage

- Direct reportees: Executive Security/Supervisor Security
