Prioritising the facilities\xe2\x80\x99 needs

Working with both the facilities manager and the assistant facilities manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll oversee the property\xe2\x80\x99s day-to-day operations and ensure that all administrative functions, security issues and facility services are covered. Likewise, you\xe2\x80\x99ll strive for continuous improvement in the process.

The primary aim of the security service is to protect people and property in the workplace. All data handling performed by the Security service shall be in accordance with the legal requirements in terms of data privacy. The secondary aim of the security service is to receive and assist visitors and callers to the site in a manner that will support and enhance client image. The duties and activities of security service are detailed below and are regularly reviewed, updated, trained and tested by the IFM Site Manager

Security Services shall be effective, efficient and done in a professional, manner that does not disrupt the day to day activities of people working in or visiting the facilities.

Unless otherwise specified in the Local Services Agreement, Security Services shall be provided 24 hours per day, 365 / 6 days per year. No breach in security involving unauthorised access to the facilities. Emergency response, business continuity and disaster recovery plans under Supplier\xe2\x80\x99s control shall always be up to date and operational. Scheduled inspection patrols shall be effectively monitored. All entrance doors shall be kept locked after hours between the agreed times. Reception, and customer facing security Personnel shall have a good command of the written and spoken local language (and English where specified in the Local Services Agreements).Assist guests with luggage and accessories as required. This includes safe luggage storage and identification. The Supplier shall provide relevant management information in accordance with Customer requirements. The Supplier shall continually assess and, where appropriate, make use of innovative security solutions and technology. All data (particularly CCTV data) shall be processed in accordance with Customer requirements and Applicable Laws including but not limited to Data Protection Laws.

Strong knowledge of property operations

Playing a key role, the ideal candidate holds a degree with additional security certification and at least three to five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in security services. You must also demonstrate good working knowledge in occupational safety, as well as aptitude in client-centric operations.

Solid background in team management
