Objective : The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention(SLP) Manager is to provide physical security services, carry out investigation, manage crisis/ emergency situations and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. The SLP Manager shall always endeavor to maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies. The role is cross-functional and requires collaboration and influencing ability across business teams and corporate functions.
Roles and Responsibilities: The following are general areas of responsibility for a SLP manager.
Planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and the SLP function.
Identify, analyze and prevent inventory shrink/ loss in the defined areas of responsibility.
Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders to mitigate the causes of theft.
Ensure optimum utilization of the resources to maintain high quality and timely support to business teams.
Should be able conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the global security policies and guidelines.
Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and secure people and assets.
Contributes in supporting complex investigations into significant acts of wrongdoing against Amazon
Maintains site Loss/shrink metrics including the compiling of regular management reports and has an active role in the maintenance and governance of the investigation reporting tools.
Overseeing the planning, design, installation and ongoing maintenance of physical security measures to meet the operational needs and the risk management requirements.
Implementing training and awareness improvement initiatives for various levels within operations and support functions.
Supporting launches of new sites and ensuring adequate physical security measures are being installed to meet standards and risk management requirements in conjunction with the Global site security compliance and build books.
Involve and prepare site security budgets.
Monitoring the implementation and performance of security guarding services within the cluster.
Effectively Engage with Law enforcement in matters related to crisis, investigation or loss prevention whilst adhering to all applicable laws.
