Job Title: Security Guard

Organization: Shaanthi Schools, Pollachi & Udumalpet

Shaanthi Schools is seeking responsible, alert, and disciplined Security Guards to ensure the safety and protection of our students, staff, visitors, and school property. The Security Guard plays a key role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and well-regulated school environment across all our campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control entry and exit at all school gates. Check ID cards of students, staff, and visitors as per school policy. Maintain a proper visitor logbook and verify delivery personnel. Conduct routine patrolling of school premises to ensure safety and detect suspicious activities. Ensure safe movement of students during arrival, dispersal, and school events. Oversee parking areas and maintain order during peak hours. Respond immediately to emergencies, safety alerts, and any unusual incidents. Report daily observations or incidents to the admin office or school management. Assist in maintaining CCTV systems and basic security equipment. Support school functions, programs, and examinations by managing crowd control. Maintain discipline and uphold the dignity and values of Shaanthi Schools.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum SSLC / High School education preferred. Prior experience as a security guard is an added advantage. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Basic understanding of security procedures, emergency handling, and fire safety. Polite, responsible, alert, and trustworthy. Ability to interact respectfully with students, parents, and staff.
