Job Description

We are searching for a reliable, trustworthy mall security guard to join our security company. The mall security guard's responsibilities include performing regular patrols and observations, reporting irregularities, providing crowd control, answering queries, assisting customers and staff, and maintaining order at all times. You should be able to remove or restrain those who threaten the safety of any staff or customers.

To be successful as a mall security guard, you should be physically fit and able to react appropriately in stressful conditions. Outstanding candidates are passionate about protecting others and have a deep respect for human life.

Mall Security Guard Responsibilities:

Patrolling and monitoring premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches. Keeping calm when alarms are triggered and escorting people to safety or apprehending the guilty parties. Responding to calls for help and contacting the fire department or law enforcement if required. Assisting during emergencies, ensuring minimal injury to people and damage to property. Removing or restraining anyone who threatens the safety or disturbs the peace. Wearing security uniforms when required, but working undercover if necessary. Following orders and working as part of a team to ensure the safety of staff and customers. Writing up daily reports and providing suggestions for improved security. Undertaking all tasks with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
