Gate & Access Control:

Maintain Registers:

Visitors, Gate Entry, Office Open/Close, Mail/Courier, Material In/Out, Duty Handover.

ID Verification:

Check employee ID cards; stop & report those without for action.

Visitor Management:

Allow entry only with appointments; issue passes and log timings.

Tailgating:

Strictly prevent unauthorized entry behind authorized persons.

Vehicle Checks:

Verify vehicles; ensure spark arrestees on silencers; park in designated areas.

Patrolling & Monitoring:

Vigilance:

Constant alertness and awareness; monitor entry/exit points.

Area Checks:

Patrolling sensitive areas (labs, server rooms, UPS room) hourly; check for unauthorized lights/ACs.

Emergency Readiness:

Be prepared for power failures, fires, injuries; know fire equipment operation.

Material & Mail Handling:

Inward/Outward:

Log all material movement (raw, finished, returnable); frisk staff/contractors leaving.

Mail/Courier:

Receive, log, and deliver mail; ensure outgoing mail is sealed and signed.

Personnel & Discipline:

Duty Roster:

Ensure proper handover briefings between shifts.

Uniform & Appearance:

Maintain high standards of discipline and physical appearance.

Communication:

Be courteous; report suspicious activity; handle calls professionally; don't share staff numbers.

Emergency Response:

Report Immediately:

Any security lapse, suspicious movement, fire, or incident to superiors.

Follow SOPs:

For power failure, fire, floods, accidents, or fights.
