Job Description

Deterrence & Observation:

Maintaining a constant visible presence to deter criminal activity and observing the area for any suspicious behavior or potential security breaches.

Access Control:

Verifying the identity of people entering and exiting the property, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access, and managing visitor logs.

Patrols & Inspections:

Conducting regular patrols of the premises to identify potential safety hazards or security vulnerabilities and inspecting access points like doors and windows.

Monitoring:

Operating surveillance equipment and monitoring alarm systems to detect security threats and responding to any alarms or alerts.

Emergency Response:

Acting as the first point of contact in emergencies, providing immediate assistance, calling for emergency services (police, fire, ambulance), and providing first aid if needed.

Incident Management:

Investigating incidents, restraining trespassers, and detaining suspects until law enforcement arrives.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintaining detailed written records of activities, incidents, and observations, which can serve as crucial evidence.

Enforcing Regulations:

Ensuring that site rules and regulations are followed to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Assisting People:

Providing assistance to visitors, employees, and the public, offering directions, and helping those in need.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other relevant authorities regarding security matters.
