We are seeking a diligent and proactive
Security Field Officer
who will also take responsibility for managing and arranging security manpower and housekeeping staff. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the premises while maintaining smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities: Security Management:
Oversee and manage the security operations to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and premises.
Conduct regular security patrols across all areas of the property.
Monitor and operate security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) to prevent unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to security emergencies and incidents, ensuring quick resolution and reporting.
Maintain communication with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
Manpower Management:
Arrange and schedule security staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage at all times.
Coordinate with HR or relevant departments to recruit and train security personnel.
Monitor the performance of security staff and address any issues related to discipline or behavior.
Provide leadership and ensure staff follow the company's safety and security protocols.
Housekeeping Coordination:
Work with the housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all security-related areas, including lobbies, hallways, and entrances.
Arrange for housekeeping support for security-related areas as needed.
Maintain effective coordination between the security team and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of incidents, security checks, and reports.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly security reports to management.
Keep track of any staffing issues or incidents involving housekeeping or security personnel.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with visitors and employees to ensure their safety and address any security concerns.
Ensure that all guests and staff follow the proper safety and security protocols, including check-in procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Security Management or related field is a plus).
Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of security operations and managing security manpower.
Familiarity with housekeeping procedures and coordination.
Good physical stamina and ability to conduct regular patrols.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple teams.
Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with different teams.
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to perform background checks and monitor security personnel performance.
Prior experience in managing housekeeping staff or related operational teams is an added advantage.
