Description & Requirements

Linux Developer - Cybersecurity & Bash Scripting Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled Linux Developer with over 10 years of experience and a deep understanding of the Linux operating system, cybersecurity principles, and Bash scripting. This role will involve contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure Linux-based systems for medical devices, ensuring the highest standards of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Linux System Development & Security

Configure, develop, and maintain a

secure Linux system

with a strong focus on

cybersecurity

for medical devices. Develop, test, and optimize

Bash scripts

to automate processes, enhance security, and meet system requirements. Debug, optimize, and enhance

existing Linux software solutions

to meet performance, security, and application needs. Maintain and improve

build automation

to ensure efficient software delivery. Ensure compliance with

coding standards, best practices, and security benchmarks

for Linux-based applications. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, ensuring compatibility across different hardware platforms.

2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication

Work closely with

international stakeholders

to define technical requirements and translate them into detailed development plans. Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

such as

QA, DevOps, and product teams

to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Linux-based solutions.

3. Continuous Learning & Innovation

Stay up-to-date with

emerging trends, tools, and best practices

in

Linux configuration, cybersecurity, and Bash scripting

. Implement

security hardening measures

to protect Linux systems against vulnerabilities. Evaluate and adopt

new technologies and methodologies

that drive innovation and improve productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6+ years of experience

in

Linux system administration, development, and security

. Proven track record of working on

successful software projects

, from concept to deployment.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of Linux OS

, including configuration, package management, and system deployment.

Expertise in Bash scripting

for automation, system monitoring, and security.

Experience in Security Engineering

, including

hardening Linux systems

and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Understanding of network connectivity, firewall configuration, and secure communication protocols

. Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum development environments

.

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for debugging complex technical issues.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to

non-technical and international stakeholders

Language Requirement:
