About the Role
The Security Engineer is responsible for identifying threats and vulnerabilities within the organization's IT systems. This role involves testing and securing computer networks, anticipating potential security issues, and implementing measures to safeguard the infrastructure. The Security Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of the organization's digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and support the security endpoint deployment and infrastructure of the organization.
• Support a diverse set of security solutions and infrastructure deployed within the organization.
• Propose, develop, test, and manage changes, upgrades, troubleshooting, patches, and improvements to applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Identify and implement cybersecurity measures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of common authentication technologies including OAuth, SAML, CAs, OTP/TOTP.
• Apply browser-based security controls such as CSP, HSTS, and XFO.
• Develop security solutions to address vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with other teams within the organization to implement security controls.
• Coordinate incident response across the organization.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new solutions to automate, streamline, improve performance, and enhance the capacity of network infrastructure to increase efficiencies.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers in technical discussions, troubleshooting sessions, and forums.
