Job Title: Network Security Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT Infrastructure Security team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of networking and security concepts and demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and grow. This role offers hands-on exposure to technologies such as proxy management, Active Directory, firewalls, SASE (Netskope), DLP, and email security.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining security tools including proxy servers, firewalls, and email security gateways.
• Support basic Active Directory administration tasks including user account management and Group Policy updates.
• Learn and assist with the configuration and deployment of SASE solutions (Netskope) to enable secure remote access.
• Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across endpoints and email systems.
• Participate in incident response activities under guidance and supervision.
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper versioning of security configurations and changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduation in BE/CS/IT or equivalent discipline.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Familiarity with security concepts such as firewalls, proxies, and authentication mechanisms.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
• Awareness of cloud security principles and Zero Trust architecture (preferred).
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work with emerging security technologies.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem?solving abilities.
