Want to be a part of our team? Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.

Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Working at NTT Position Overview Our Security Engineers play an important role in delivering Managed Security Services (MSS) to our global customers. The incumbent will support the configuration, management and triaging of customer security devices, including Next Generation Firewalls and IPS/IDS devices. This role plays a key part of our Global MSS Team and will be relied upon for Security Engineering on our Next-Gen Platform. Key Accountabilities As a Senior Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Delivering excellent customer service through professional, comprehensive and timely support for the Security Device Management Lifecycle (H&A, Incidents, Change Requests, Upgrades, etc.) Design and implement complex change requests for global enterprise customers Work as an integral part of a global team delivering high-value Managed Security Services (MSS) Be a Technical point of contact for customer escalations Monitor customer devices and services to quickly identify, escalate and resolve incidents Work closely with stakeholders and other regional SOCs as required Be the technical SME for security device and security service management Work as part of a 24/7/365 shift pattern Other duties as required Experience Skills and Qualifications As a Security Engineer your skills and qualifications will include: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Security or related (Polytechnic Diploma and two years direct hands on experience in a SOC will be considered) Minimum 4+ years of experience in Security Domain Minimum 2+ years of experience in Claroty OT security or Similar technologies. Minimum 2+ years of experience in IDS/IPS technologies like McAfee, Cisco IPS, FireEye etc. Experience in Microsoft Azure and Sentinel is a plus. Knowledge on Cloud based security technologies Excellent understanding of application layer protocols like HTTPS, SFTP, SSH etc. Be an escalation point for security engineers in shift Suitable skills or certifications from major security vendors (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) may be substituted for formal education Demonstrated experience working in both UNIX and Windows based environments Demonstrated experience with Firewalls, Content Scanners / Proxies, and IDS/IPS devices Demonstrated experience with VPN technologies and troubleshooting techniques Excellent diagnostic / troubleshooting skills Experience with security products from vendors such as Checkpoint, Juniper, F5, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Cisco and other leading security vendors Valid Certifications with at least one leading security device vendor (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint) preferred Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Routing & Switching Concepts Excellent written and spoken fluency in English Comfortable and proficient working in a role that interfaces with multiple cultures and time zones Be the technical SME for security device and security service management Work as part of a 24/7/365 shift pattern Other duties as required.
