What's the role
You'll be one of the IT DevOps Engineer in one of the new Workday DevOps teams in the Human Resources IT organization. As an IT DevOps Engineer, you are passionate about Agile delivery and DevOps. In this role, you will assist in the design, coding, reviewing, analysing and modification of technical solutions, fix incidents within SLA ensuring that the end-to-end SaaS landscape remains available, reliable, secure, affordable and compliant, and deliver configuration changes in Workday throughvsprints.
Your focus area is Workday Security but not limited to this module. You feel accountable for ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with Shell standards and pro-actively manage and mitigate security risks. You contribute to the Agile environment by thinking out of the box and continuously wanting to structurally improve the ways of working, the technical stability of the landscape and the speed in which changes are delivered, and by continuously growing into a more and more self-organizing team with the rest of the team members.
You are strong in monitoring the end to end landscape using monitoring tools and determining potential issues from monitoring logs, investigating and pro-actively solving them. As part of the Scrum of Scrum setup you take care of technical impact assessments, fix complex issues in the wider landscape and prepare vendor releases in the Workday modules.
What you'll be doing
You will work with the Scrum Master of your team, the overall Chief Scrum Master, The Technical Lead, the Product Owners, HR DevOps Analysts in your team, HR Services Support teams, Testers, Test Manager, IRM, IT Architects, OLM's, Shell People and Interface Support team, other legacy / on premise support teams, and HR Transformation Program resources.

• Actively contributes to the safe Agile "One Team - One Goal", "Self-Organizing" and "Continuous Improvement" environment
• Prepare vendor releases for stakeholders and switch on functionality when approved and assigned in sprint backlog
• Translate business requirements/user stories into solutions
• Design E2E solutions covering legal, security, DP, S&T requirements
• Delivery of committed complex configuration change requests in Workday through sprints
• Design, implement and maintain automated deployment processes where possible
• Impact analysis of change requests and data flows in end to end landscape including Workday, integrations and legacy systems
• Help designing end to end landscape testing and regression test cases based on technical and business process knowledge
• Strong emphasis on teamwork and close collaboration across all roles and functions
• Work closely with Compliance Specialists whereby having good understanding of Shell Security policies, IRM Controls and Data Privacy.
• Participate in Shell Internal Audits while supporting the Compliance Specialists and auditors with appropriate evidences.

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Workday Security
• Good understanding of DevOps model and IT Service Management
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Workday Pro-Security Certification is a plus
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proven ability in Stakeholder Management
