The Security Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations, coordinating security staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The role requires strong communication, incident-management, and coordination skills.
What You'll do
Coordinate daily deployment of security guards across all posts. Monitor security control room activities (CCTV, access control, alarms) .
Ensure proper functioning of security equipment and report faults. Maintain visitor management procedures and ensure compliance.
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Document incidents and prepare reports for management.
Coordinate with emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) when required. Conduct preliminary investigations into security breaches and loss events.
Conduct regular security audits of premises, gates, parking areas, and restricted zones.
Implement safety and security SOPs and ensure adherence. Maintain necessary logs such as incident log, patrol log, equipment log, etc.
Supervise security guards and ensure discipline and punctuality. Provide basic training and refresher sessions on emergency procedures, access control, and communication.
Assist in onboarding new security personnel.
Liaise with vendors, facility teams, contractors, and management on security matters. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
Assist in planning security for events, VIP visits, and high-risk operations.
What We're looking for
Graduate with relevant security experience. Minimum 2-4 years of security or facility management experience.
Knowledge of CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and safety protocols.
Strong communication skills (Hindi/English).
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email).
